The MK Series is the gold standard for long-term, permanent installations. Systems that are meant to last. And last. State-of-the-art, passive, two-way, high output systems designed to be adaptable to fit a range of applications.
The MK series includes three sub-series. Each sub-series shares a common enclosure as well as three dedicated subwoofer systems.
The series is a natural for applications such as the main PA for small houses of worship, small auditoriums/theaters, A/V systems, hotel ballrooms, and meeting
rooms. It is also ideally suited for use as distributed/fill systems in large houses of worship, large auditorium/theaters, arenas, stadiums, nightclubs, and themed entertainment complexes.
All MK Series systems feature large-format HF horns that maintain pattern control throughout the crossover region, enabling EAW’s beamwidth matching crossover technology that improves performance through the crossover region.

Core technologies featured in the Redline RL Series include:
Use of advanced digital signal processing to perfect impulse response of a loudspeaker in the time domain. Eliminating horn “honk” and splashiness, the loudspeaker sounds more like a studio monitor than a “PA” speaker.
Introduced over a decade ago for our MK series loudspeakers, EAW Engineers use carefully-designed HF horns and crossovers to eliminate polar irregularities through the crossover point.
Traditional two-way loudspeakers suffer from a beamwidth mismatch at crossover. As the woofer’s beamwidth collapses near crossover, it becomes significantly more narrow than the HF horn’s beamwidth, which balloons near crossover.
Off-axis listeners will hear noticeable gaps in frequency response in the crossover region. EAW’s MK Series has solved this problem by matching the crossover point with the beamwidths of the woofer and HF horn at crossover.
The result is flat off-axis frequency response meaning better sound in the venue as a whole.
Single-amp and bi-amp operating modes are user-selectable. In single-amp mode, the beamwidth matching passive crossover is designed for even power response through the crossover, low power losses, and high power handling. In bi-amp mode, the loudspeakers are designed to work with a digital signal processor (DSP). This improves power transfer and provides more sophisticated processing to maximize performance.
Note flat off-axis frequency response of MK Series – result: brilliant sound throughout the venue.
Keep the coverage
The MK Series adapts to your set-up without sacrificing coverage. User rotatable horns let you mount the enclosures vertically or horizontally and still keep the desired coverage pattern
Sound quality
All MK Series models are carefully voiced to sound similar, permitting diverse horn patterns to be mixed throughout an installation while maintaining the same sonic quality. The result is cleaner, usable, high-fidelity output at significantly higher levels than is normally expected from loudspeakers of this size and price.
Every EAW product series works seamlessly with our array of software applications designed to make installation easier and sound optimization a more exact science.
EAW Resolution 2, for example, is a powerful and easy-to-use simulation software that accurately predicts the performance of multiple arrays within a venue. Driven by EAW’s proprietary F-Chart acoustics modeling software, Resolution is more accurate and powerful than previous generations of software by utilizing measured 3D acoustic data.
Output levels are displayed by varying color using a variety of methods, including 1/3-octave and broadband SPL, A and C weighted. The actual frequency response at any point in a venue can also be viewed. User-defined environmental conditions, specifically temperature and humidity, are factored into these calculations.
EAW’s proprietary Resolution 2 modeling software allows you to accurately predict performance and optimize multiple arrays.
